Mechanic
We are looking for an experienced heavy equipment mechanic to join one of the largest excavating contractors in the Southeast.

Qualifications
-
Experienced Technician: A minimum of 2 years of recent experience or training in vehicle/construction equipment repair and maintenance
-
Mechanical Expert: Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
-
Hydraulic Specialist: Expertise in operating diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting hydraulic systems

Skilled Welder: Strong welding and fabrication skills

Physical Endurance: The ability to lift objects weighing up to 60 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions

Effective Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Travel Ready: A willingness to travel and obtain a CDL driver's license, with a clean driving record.
Scraper Operator
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Scraper Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment on construction sites. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely while adhering to industry standards.​

Responsibilities

Operate heavy machinery including bulldozers, backhoes.

Ensure the proper maintenance of equipment by conducting regular inspections and reporting any mechanical issues.

Collaborate with team members to complete tasks effectively.

Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Assist in the setup and teardown of construction sites as needed.

Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and project progress.

Qualifications

Proven experience in operating heavy machinery on construction sites is preferred.

Familiarity with bulldoze, backhoe operation, dump truck driving.

Commercial driving experience is a plus.

Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining focus on individual tasks.
